Empreintes highlights the journey of women who have marked the history of theatre by questioning and poetising their legacy. Through a dialogue between body and voic, this project aims to weave together a reflection on the transmission in acts, inscribed in the gesture of creation to better question what shapes our artistic practices, their visibility and their potential for sustainability. Designed with the collaboration of emeritus artists and young creators. Empreintes intends to explore more particularly the practice of body theatre, a historically understated form. It is a fragile practice, based mainly on an embedded memory which, very friable in its transmission, is now on the way to disappearing. Her story needs to be passed, told, exposed in a hurry.
